Costa Brava Pubs

Don Juan
C/ Pou de la Villa
(Tossa de Mar)
D
Don JuanA (sort of) German themed bar in Tossa de Mar which has "Diebels Alt" on draught. This is a top fermenting beer similar to british beers but with a slightly cleaner taste. This is a welcome change from the syrupy lagers sold elsewhere. The interior is interesting with hams hung from the ceiling and bric-a-brac almost everywhere else.
Göttinger Stuben
C/ de la Villa
(Lloret de Mar)
D
Göttinger StubenA very small German bar off the main souvenir shop street (just a block behind the beach) in Lloret de Mar. They sell "Diebels Alt" in 500ml bottles and also Weissbier. This is a good place to sit and watch the world go by.
Peter Vader
Sea Front - North
(Lloret de Mar)
B
A quite large Dutch bar/cafe on the north end of the sea front. They stock a small range or Belgian bottles, including "Duvel". NB - Don't confuse this with the other Dutch bar "The Godfather", two doors down and also bearing the "Peter Vader" name. This is a smallish upstairs place which I wasn't that keen on.
Pub Highwayman
Calle sta Cristina  7
(Lloret de Mar)
This is a normal English pub type of place which is notable for playing heavy rock music, they only serve lager though. It at the loud end of the town near all of the nightclubs. Next door is a similar but inferior "Pirate Bar" but the door staff are more willing to get you in than the bar staff are to serve. A bit further on there is a small bar with an open front which is not a bad place to sit but unfortunately I can't remember its name.
Sa Xarxa (Fisherman's Bar)
Sčnia del Barral 12
(Lloret de Mar)
B

Sa Xarxa (Fisherman's Bar)This is a good traditional Spanish bar which has a range of Belgian and other beers, including "Chimay Blue" and "Leffe Bruin". You can also get wine, sherry etc. straight from one of the barrels against the wall. It is quite a big place and you will almost certainly find a seat.
Seven Seas
Sčnia del Barral
(Lloret de Mar)
GB
Seven SeasThis bar is opposite "Sa Xarxa" (above) and this is one of the reasons I went in. They have "Tetley's" (smoothflow) and "Strongbow" cider. The other reason I went in was the invite from one of their staff outside advertising a large British bottled range, including "Newcastle Brown" and I can't remember what else, this turned out to be a limited range but nonetheless large for Spain. It was always quiet but I always went in early so maybe it got busy later (I doubt it though).
